Timor: A creepy pasta by Juan.C

“It was horrifying, it was nothing I’ve seen before but felt familiar, like it was always there,
under my bed when I was a kid, behind me when I walked, and ahead of me, waiting for me to past by.”

Hello, my name is John Willow, I am a single father of two 10-year-old tween girls
named Anne and Elizabeth Willow. The story I'm going to tell you today seems… unrealistic,
but it was real, and that monster will always be in my memory. I and my two little girls were going
on a family camping trip, I thought we could take a break from the city because it was bringing back
memories of my daughter’s mother, and I saw how sad Anne and Elizabeth were,
honestly I also needed a break. I was worried at first because we weren’t near any sheriff department,
and there was nobody with us, but I got used to it. It was me and my girls on a fun camping trip,
what could go wrong. I and my daughters were fishing until I notice the sun was going down,
I told them we should go back to camp before it gets dark. We went through the forest, it was longer
than usual and I thought we were lost, I didn’t want to worry my daughters so I just keep saying
“we’re almost there”. It was completely dark, and the forest didn’t seem to end,
we decided we were going to rest in a cave that we passed by a couple of minutes ago.
It seemed like it was rather 12:00 or 1:00 in the morning when it happens.
I had heard a loud scream that woke me up, I notice that Elizabeth was gone,
I told Anne were her sister had gone, but she didn’t know either.
I ran outside the cave and yelled out “Elizabeth” over and over until I heard a scream not so far
from the cave. I told Anne to stay in the cave, and I ran into the forest without hesitation,
as I was running torse the scream I saw something in the corner of my eye,
it was Elizabeth hiding behind a rock, telling me to come to hide with her.
I was sitting next to her and I can see her crying with fear,
I was wondering who was screaming in the forest, she...or it sounded a lot like Elizabeth.
I asked her “what did you see”, she told me that she saw a shadow monster, with big white eyes,
a snake-like tail, and it was so thin you could see its ribs, it was hungry for fear.
At first, I didn’t believe her, but then I heard something slithering near us,
I look over the rock to get a view of what it was, at first I didn’t see anything,
and then I saw two white eyes appearing from the darkness,
I couldn’t move… I was terrified. It was looking at me and made a loud scream,
a scream of a monster that wanted something to feast on.
At the moment it screamed I picked up Elizabeth and ran back to the cave,
Anne didn’t know what was happening, I told her to turn off the fire and stay quiet.
It came out of the forest, the moonlight beaming on it. It was horrifying, it was nothing
I’ve seen before but felt familiar, like it was always there, under my bed when I was a kid,
behind me when I walked, and ahead of me, waiting for me to past by. It was standing there
for a soiled minute until it went back to the forest, I saw the sun coming up from the sky,
I was too scared to go back to the forest until a local sheriff I called came to pick us up.
We went back to the city, I was still processing what just happen, and then I saw Elizabeth drawling,
it was the drawing of the monster, in the bottom of the drawling it said Timor… the shadow monster.
